The Project Management field has historically relied on an operationally-centric approach in which personnel dedicate substantial time and resources to administrative tasks such as priority setting, risk-management, reporting. However, the advent of virtual assistance, AI tools, and improved techniques has ushered in a new era of modern project management philosophy that challenges us to rethink how the allocation of resources can, and should, be done. This modernized approach has led to two significant shifts:
